Santa’s Slay – 12 Days Of Horror: Day 8

A List Of The Best Christmas Horror Movies Of All Time

Santa’s Slay (2005)
Dir: David Steiman

What do 90s TV icon Fran Drescher & Famous WWE Wrestler Goldberg have in common? They both share the screen in this hilarious Christmas Horror tale. Set in the Township of Hell, Santa Claus (portrayed by Goldberg) terrorizes the town and murders over 30 people in a variety of hilarious ways. Including a Jewish Deli owner being murdered by his own menorah & A Grandfather being ran over by Santa’s ‘hell-deer’.

Santa’s Slay went straight to video, for obvious reasons, regardless it’s definitely worth a watch if you haven’t already seen this Holiday Horror gold. Fun Fact: During the final Zamboni battle scene (yes that’s a real thing), one of the film trailers caught fire. The film was shot in Edmonton and Wetaskiwin, Alberta, which makes sense of the Zamboni reference.

14 years after its release, Santas Slay remains one of the funniest and more wholesome Christmas Horror movies of all time. A bizarrely entertaining ride full of violence, laughs and satire. Santa’s Slay is a slasher, but it’s one the whole family can enjoy.
